WOOO HOOO! I bet everyone is tired right now yeah? Cause, it is immediately right after camp! everyone is gonna take a very very long shower yeah? Refresh yourself up for the new school year!
Well then, about the camp... as you know, the camp is like, four days three nights. met our two trainers, Fin(boy) and Pei Pei(girl). our class is splitted into two different groups, filter and funnel(funny names as the theme this year is CSI) yeaps. and all seven leaders are all in funnel and the other group has no leaders at all! Ok... that was long. now, let's get to the point for the activities that all of us had gone through
DAY 1: the what we called the wet activities day
okok... day 1 is the day that we came to the campsite. The campsite is really like, covered with lots of trees. So, it is kinda nature-ee. we had the welcoming thing before everything else begins. So, we were introduced to Fin and Pei Pei, our two trainers for this whole camp. Ok. After that, we checked into the dormitories!
The dormitories are like, two level bed, you know, those double decker beds but longer ones. It is quite long, a rectangle actually. We fitted in 20 people, or more that is. So, after all that, we went to help the other classes with their tent pitching.
We are suppose to stay in either tents, dorms or A huts for the three nights, so, it is like an experience of the three of the places. we began with the dorms, what we called the high class places.
we had lunch. ok, in whole, the meals are quite alright. but the thing is that, all of the meals are kinda oily. =.= we went through the challenge valley(which leads to milo pond), and all of us passed! we are suppose to swing ourselves from tires are are hunging down from the pole on the top and our friends have to hold on to the tires for you to cross, so, it is like, teamwork and trust between friends.
We then went down to the milo pond! most of them said that it was awesome and wanted to try again. of course, the leaders loved them lots and are more than willing to try out the milo pond! I am so glad and proud that all of the leaders are so enthusiastic throughout the whole camp. good job!
after this, we went straight to kayaking! and everyone said that it was awesome, but I cannot go cause of, you know, and did not get to try the wonderful things that the trainers set up for all of us! we had team building after kayaking and of cause, those team building games, like, there is a very long pole and it is rather wide. able to hold one group.
we are suppose to sit down with our legs opened and have to do whatever the trainers tell us to do, like, arranging into register order, etc. it is a very interesting and exciting game. we had dinner, then bathe, then song session, debrief, teacher student contact time and light off.
Day 2: the what we called the high elements day
we have to change our sleeping again and we assembled at the MPH(multi-purpose hall). we are going to stay in tents the second night. many people cannot sleep in dorms and I really understand. It is hot, but abit cooling for me. I slept pretty well that night. just that it rained and we cannot go shower and had to rush into showering.
We had breakfast and went for rock-climbing! Rock-climbing is so cool, Grace Q, Celeste and Wendy did a really great job! they reached half of the rock wall(which is 3 floors high). Good job. we did camp craft for the preparation for tomorrow's competition. we learnt how to tie many different type of knots and all are really interesting and very new to us.
did the challenge rope courses, which is the high elements. some of us went up to the highest few rope courses and did really well! good job people! you all have overcome your fear of heights already!
Had lunch and checked in into tents. we did abseiling next and was really fun. but, even before we finish our abseiling for the whole class, it started to rain. we ran into the two tents and stood under them for like, 15 minutes. but the rain just kept getting heavier and heavier. many of us were wearing our school shoes then!
Then, Farhan(our camp chief), came to the rescue! He brought the plastic sheet for us and all of us went under it and went straight towards the dorms. We then stood under it and also played some wet activity games that the trainers prepared for us. that made us miss our zipline and challenge pole.
We did orienteering after that, to how to handle the GPS and everyone had fun finding all of the clues and get my shoes all muddy and dirty and that is my only school shoes that we are suppose to wear back to school on the last day.
we then did shower, dinner, then night walk. The night walk was pretty awesome I think. everyone stepped into the mud and the shoes are like, all wet again. then go and wash our shoes. but overall, we saw alot of stars that are not covered by the clouds and everyone enjoyed the view very much.
then, we had supper and debrief, teacher student contact time then lights off at the tents.
Day 3: What we called the leisure day.
We assembled once again at the MPH and had another change again, to the A huts. they said that it was nice. so, ok. had breakfast and checked in. then, we had catapult building. that's why we did camp craft to help us with this mission to earn points are our class.
Funnel did the shoe racks and Filter did on the object that helps to hang clothes. everyone is really cool and very skilled at doing that. but, everyone was also tired and sleepy too. but we carried on to campfire preparation. Everything went well as we did something on the dance. and a cheer too. actually from Laurel.

Filter Funnel you're so fine,
we will win the world this time.
we will win the world!(x3)
One more time!
we will win the world!(x3)
one last time!
We will win the world!(x3)
Goooooo! Filter Funnel!
yeaps, that's the cheer. and handled all kind of problems. did problem solving and fire making, like, using leaves first, then twigs and then trunks from the trees.
We then did the Sarimbun challenge. We need to run around and find answers to the clues provided on the piece of paper that was passed to us. and it lasts for 2 hours, but we found out that 2 hours was not enough for us.
had dinner and showers. Then campfire! everyone had their own performance and I will say that our class did really great! :D Good job~ as well as the other classes as well! that is really good. we then had reflection show because it rained unfortunetely during the camp fire, but we did finish the whole thing, so it is ok.
So, the normal things again, debrief, teacher and student contact time, then lights off.
Day 4: The what we called the thinking of home day.
My group over slept and got scolded by the trainers. anyways, =3= nevermind, as long as we realised that it is not right that we do that to upset the trainers, so, we must understand. so we had our bags at the MPH and went for breakfast.
Then area cleaning, final debrief and that is bye bye to the campsite. some of the trainers came back to school together with us and joined us. so, in the end, we serparated and then went home.
wow, hand abit pain. XD so, yeaps, that's all of the activities that we had in the camp. thanks for reading!
